Portfolios, or as we call them “Projects of Passion” are intended to provide an opportunity for people interested in developing a body of work ready for our end of year exhibition. This is intended to encourage growth as a creative photographer.
The developed body of work will encourage the person to become more creative and go from a “taker of an image” to being a “maker of an image” to fit their portfolio theme. There is no rule that says you must use a camera.
Members work on a Portfolio of their own choosing based on something they are passionate about or something new to them so they push themselves out of their comfort zone. Throughout the year we meet as a group on a regular basis to help members refine their vision.
